Power to the Youth: These 4 words are the Vociferous mission and they encapsulate all for which we stand. Vociferous is not simply a news organization - there are millions of media groups around the world. Vociferous is our way, as today’s youth, of taking back the truth from all it has been twisted into. Our way of proving we are capable of leading our own world forward. Our way of showing that we aren’t the naive, mindless creatures that the media makes us out to be. Our way of making sure that we are heard, even if we have to be loud. Even if we have to be boisterous. Even if we must be vociferous.

Today’s youth are capable. We are intelligent. We can not only form our own opinions, but we are determined to share them. We no longer will tolerate the misinformation thrown at us on social media. We are determined to spread the truth.

Vociferous staff are the teens of this generation, who are tired of all of the falsity. Our articles are passionately written, carefully fact-checked, and crafted with the purpose of educating, not influencing. Our op-eds are forums to foster exploration of our own beliefs. We welcome views from democrats and conservatives, liberals and conservatives alike. Even when many of our staff share similar political views, we seek out other perspectives and attempt to understand them. The power we claim is fair and just, we don’t isolate one opinion from another or spin the story. We may be Vociferous, but we are also authentic. If that sentiment ever appears to be challenged, I invite you to reach out and challenge it back. If you have something to say, we want to hear it. Until then, though, live fully, spread truth, and speak Vociferously.
